Then, of course, it was torn down to make way for a sports stadium. I think I'd like to get the book that kept Chavez Ravine from being forgotten.

"When an accomplished, successful woman poses in this way, then, she is not at all signaling to others that she is actually subordinate. On the contrary, on the surface she is showing that she, too, can be successful in this arena, the arena where the goal is to attract and control the power of the gaze by striking a subordinate pose. And were this an occasional event, if we regularly saw images of women that were of a different sort, the effect might be innocuous."
I Hate Cilantro - an anti cilantro community "Welcome! You are visiting the web site of a growing community of cilantro haters. We are, however, rational people. In fact, we are the most rational people on earth. No normally functioning human being would ever in a lifetime consider cilantro edible." I am greedier for Mexican food than a hobbit for mushrooms, so I've come to like cilantro. The spousal unit still avoids it though.
